Pricing policy

Why can we offer our products so cheaply?

  • Pricing Policy

  • Gusti Cycle

  • Transparency

We set our prices in a reasonable and fair manner.

Our pricing policy is extremely transparent. We want to build trust with our customers and give them the feeling that they can decide for themselves by informing them about our pricing policy. Trust is the foundation of any strong relationship and TRANSPARENCY helps to create this trust. We have outlined how we set the prices for our products in the model above. When calculating our prices, we consider various factors, including: profit tax, profit, rent and wages, marketing, transport and logistics, and manufacturing.

  • Reasonable Price

Our systematic approach to pricing allows us to offer products at a reasonable price. We do not work with intermediaries and avoid unnecessary transport costs.

Our bags are made in India by small family businesses or larger manufacturers. Our production materials are also sourced from local suppliers. This means our materials only need to be transported over short distances, resulting in low transport costs.

The finished leather products arrive in Europe without detours and can be sent directly to you.

  • Differentiation in Competition

Unfortunately, many companies are reducing their production costs in various ways. This leads to more and more manufacturers sourcing their leather from low-wage countries and having their goods produced there. This happens in countries like Bangladesh, where animals are slaughtered inhumanely and no proper safety measures are followed during tanning.

Gusti Leather strongly opposes this type of production and consciously chooses other production methods.

  • Other Methods for Cost Reduction

We use various strategies to reduce costs in the development and manufacturing of our products. One of the most important aspects is that we carry out all the work ourselves. This includes:

    - Assigning orders to our manufacturers
    - Delivery of the products
    - Inspection and processing of the products (if necessary)
    - Handover of the products to our shipping service provider

In the leather industry, products are often sourced from representatives of the manufacturers, at trade fairs, or through imports. We bypass this step and source our products directly from our manufacturers, creating a close business relationship. This allows us regular control of the goods and conditions on site in the production facilities.
