We’ve used sturdy buffalo leather to create the strap, so it can be worn during the day and at night. The sundial has an integrated compass, so you can use “Denise” to tell the time, just like the sailors of yesteryear. Simply stand in the sun with your wristwatch facing straight up, find north using the built-in compass, then you can read the time. When you flip the pointer up, it casts a shadow on the hour ring, showing you the time. If the sun isn’t good, it’s midday and doesn’t cast a shadow, then you can adjust it using the clock.
